Funded by Peter Hannan Eye On The World Natural Images, Ocean Ark Alliance has now re-opened Australia’s largest environmental art show.

New Teacher Guidelines are available now, with the prize giving and exhibition launch planned for 12 – 18 August at Federation Square.

This will enable more students throughout Victoria to take part and help create a more involving and meaningful exhibition.

Specific topics include the impact of Ocean Acidification on coral reefs, southern seas, polar seas, marine life, coastal communities & economic wealth.

Open to all Year 9 -12 students, this Victoria-based pilot is the start of what the Ocean Ark Alliance hopes will become a national and international initiative.

The prize money consists of School Environmental Project Grants and Student Study Grants.

  • 1st Prize = $25,000 (School $20,000, Student $5,000)
  • 2nd Prize = $15,000 (School $12,500, Student $2,500)
  • 3rd Prize = $10,000 (School $8,500, Student $1,500)
  • People’s Choice Award = Ocean Study Trip
